When I was 14 years old, I've got a man thong on and I've got the worst coach ever.
What led me to this moment was, as a teenager just got out of school, I wanted to pursue my first experience on the body building stage and I was so engulfed with fitness and I just got into working out and I absolutely loved what I was doing.
I just didn't have the knowledge to pursue it.
So, I went along with hiring a coach and along with this coach came a great bond, a great experience from the beginning.
Then, things started to take a turn.
That's something I really haven't shared as to why I do what I do now in the fitness industry today.
The things this coach had me doing were very restrictive and started to take my life away from me as a teenage boy, what I was supposed to be growing and enduring the new assets of life.
When it came to my food, there were things I couldn't do like go out at night with friends.
I wasn't allowed to stay out past 9 p.m.
My coach told me I had to get a strict number of 8 hours of sleep every night and if I didn't, I would be punished and I'll get into that.
That punishment and the second.
Another thing was the meal timing.
I was not allowed to eat more or less than two to three hours.
I always had to have one of the meals that he had given to me every 2-3 hours within that window.
That definitely took a lot of aspects away from me whether I was in class.
I'd have to deal with the embarrassment of eating and anatomy classes, everything like that.
Once again, if I didn't do this, I would have a punishment and that punishment for me was having to wear my competition man thong riding at my butt.
I had to wear it the entire day.
Any time I didn't do either of these tasks, if I didn't get the full 8 hours of sleep and if I didn't eat within that 2-3 hour window and, as a kid, I was brutally honest with them all the time.
There were many times where I was forced to wear this thong under my clothes wherever I went in my jeans, anywhere.
It's embarrassing to talk about and that kind of drove me into a hole and that's where things kind of turned for me.
I knew there had to be an easier way to achieve what I was looking for.
So, I set out on my own, obtained all this knowledge, went to school, got my certifications and I took off in the fitness industry and I discovered flexible dieting
If it fits your macros and helping people live a healthy and sustainable life while achieving their best possible body.
That's where I'm at now.
That story drove me into a whole it really took away a few years from me.
I went through that for a few years as as a young boy and I didn't know better until I really set out on my own and decided to take things into my own hands.
If this story resonates with you, whatsoever, please share it if you know somebody that has gone through a similar experience, you've experienced it yourself.
Just please put it out there because this is hard for me to share. I know a lot of people go through these types of scenarios.
Situations that have these kind of struggles that propelled them onwards to to live a better life.
Please share this content you know and put myself out there and I hope others can be inspired to do so as well.
